Unlock information

Cardinal Gate

To access the CARDINAL GATE folder in Standard Mode, you must ???. You cannot use Random, Mirror, 5KEYS, or Autoscratch.

To obtain the One More Extra Stage, first obtain marks for all four Cardinal Gate songs. To obtain a mark for a song, Hard Clear that song in Cardinal Gate mode on ANOTHER and earn at least an A. Once you have earned all four marks, the next time that you Hard Clear a song in Cardinal Gate mode on ANOTHER with an A, you will earn the One More Extra Stage.

Hidden Songs

• To unlock CALDERA, play it in the “beatmania” backside expert course.
• To unlock DRUNK MONKY, play any three beatmania songs for 1st-3rd stages in Standard Mode. Provided that you satisfy the requirements for a fourth song (clear an 8, 100% a 7, etc.), it will show up on your extra stage.
• To unlock Hybrid Landscape, play one round of Standard, Expert, or Dan modes.
• To unlock Infinite cave, play three rounds of Standard, Expert, or Dan modes.
• To unlock QUANTUM TELEPORTATION, play five rounds of Standard, Expert, or Dan modes.
• To unlock The Hope of Tomorrow (OST cut), play it in the “Sota Fujimori” backside expert course, or in DP 10-dan.
• To unlock Back Into The Light (OST cut), play it in the “Sota Fujimori” backside expert course.

The game will be the first GFDM game since Guitar Freaks 1st Mix to be released worldwide. At least, that’s what the rumors say. The game has recently been released, and it’s very different from the last Vs. I’ll just say, if those rumors of globalization are true, I really would not be surprised.

• All of the new songs are GREEN colored on the songlist. Not for the whole “song box” i suppose, but only for the fonts :3
• The SUDDEN+ thingie, you know the infamous “ZOMFG I DONT NEED A TOWEL ANYMORE” thing (BMS calls it a “SUD+ lane”), has a “camouflage” design. I hope its not a stealth camouflage design cause it would lose it purpose then :3 Ahahaha I’m thinking more of something like military stuff with leaves and ropes and such lols.
• When youre playing 5KEY, 2 keys will be covered you know. Well, now what? If you play 5 key on 2P side, the keys 3-7 will now be covered instead of 1-5 [:
• If you clear of fail or w/e a song, a nice result screen will come up and tell you “ZOMG U R FXXNG ROXOR 1337″ or “GET OFF MY IIDX” or something like that, well… That screen also actually SHOWS THE SONGS NAME now : D Welcome to Pop’n Music.
• In the song selection screen you’ll find alot and i mean alot of camouflage, prolly again, leaves, helmets, ropes, etc etc. It also contains alot of green (duh)
• Funfact: THE DEEP STRIKERS has a total of 1528 notes on Hyper (it’s an 11). When you play double hyper it will become rated as an 12 O; So another would be like a 19? S:
