On the 26th of September DDR Supernova 2 CS was released.
It has marvelouses always on, it has a different scoring system (you can get AAA by even getting some perfects^_~). It shows the name of the song when you play the song. SN2 has smoother graphics. Really the difference can be really be seen this time. It’s more gradient and shaded. It has also more visual effects in the background animations and song selection (but I guess we don’t care much about it).
Here you can switch Extra Stages on/off if you like. (you no longer get Extra Stage by AAing anything on heavy-_-). The red songs are NGO, Unreal and well known FELM.
The first songlist you will see is quite “American” there is almost no Japanese song but later on when you unlock other songs you will discover new crossovers (ehm actually new KONAMI originals). You know songs like Arrabiata, Stars, Raspberry Heart. Ofcourse there are returning songs.

Uwaa~ pressure. Part One was made article of the moment by MAI so part two kinda has to live with to that standard. These are the other CS songs that aren’t collaboration — but they aren’t the hidden songs. Hidden songs come in part three.
The order in which I’m reviewing the songs is this…
WaterCube Pf.(RX-Ver.S.P.L.) - 高田雅史 [Takada Masafumi]
VANISHING POINT - DJ CHUCKY
Shoot’Em All - Manabu Namiki
breathless - Studio Bongo Mango feat. Tomoko Kataoka
Bleeding Luv ~Immorality act~ - Xephia(Tatsh + Yuta)
The diversity of the CS songs is to be duly noted - you have instrumental pop, nu-style gabba, techno, some strange bossa-rock-dist.lounge and j-rock. Which provides a good counter balance to the heavy trance-techno-core-hardstyle of the collaboration songs. Diversity is always good.
Oh yeah, its almost time for TGS 2007, aka Tokyo Game Show 2007! New stuff is about to come O: Not much detail yet about Konami’s line up though :3 It is because the show is not opened yet for visitors, but is now as far as I know open to business ppl ya know. They do noting there than “testing” the games as work whole day. Here’s a little sidestory: When I was in Japan I was stayng in Uneo. Appearantly Ueno is known as the place where most of the showrooms are for pachinko and other slot machines in Tokyo. Business men go there everyday, just to goddamn play pachinko the whole day LOL, also to “test” the machines… ah well. As I was saying… TGS is only for business atm. It will open up for visitors on the 20th of this month [: So I would say, check back later for some more updates : D
As for now I have a floor plan/map of TGS 2007 for you guys, which I have edited a little to highlight Konami’s stand a little bit more :3 In case you are going there or something… w/e lol lol.

573 does this number sound familiar? Do you know what it has to do with this blog? Well, I will tell you.
Beatmaniaiidx.com was supposed to be mainly about the great music game BeatMania IIDX (7K) which is an “upgrade” of BeatMania (5KEYS). BM is the first musical game from a series called BEMANI. As you can see everything on this blog has to do with either BEMANI or other music games. BEMANI games are produced by a company named KONAMI. So you wonder where the number 573 is hidden in the word KONAMI?
It’s easy actually. KONAMI is a Japanese company. Isn’t there something more to the name? Well, there is. Five is said “go” in Japanese and it can be changed to voiceless version “KO”. Seven can be said nana and from there comes the “NA”. “Number” three can be described by mitsu from which comes the last syllable “MI”. From this 573 was born and the company is also known under this number.

573 number can be found in KONAMI games. For example both The Legend of Max and Max300 from DDR have max combo exactly 573.

MAI asked me time ago to make portraits of the staff people, so we could use them in the ‘Staff’ page. I don’t wanna rush with them, and since it’s September break in Chile (because of the National Holiday), I’ll have some time for making them. Read the rest of this entry »

For those who missed the ‘Movie Report’ of the ‘beatnation summit’, here’re all the videos at least uploaded in YouTube, so you will be able to watch them many times as you want ;)!
All the credits go to tomokosasaki, who uploaded the videos.
I suppose that everyone has already played Sana Morette Ne Ente. But maybe not all of you have listened to the lyrics because the lyrics are IIDX related^_~.
I had a small accident with the song, because I heard it for the first time in the arcades. The first moment I heard the vocalist sang “watashi no kare ha DABURU PUREI suki” I started to laugh and had to stop playing. I started to listen to the rest of the lyrics and I laughed till the end of the song. For those who don’t speak Japanese here is an English translation.
My boyfriend loves double play,
He only wants to play Append.
Inside himself~ He’s full of pride~
Inside himself~ He’s full of pride~
He synchronized the beat sync like this,
He shook it with the beat shock.
