Groove Motion DDR

This summer in Tokyo KONAMI showed a “game” called Groove Motion DDR.

It consists of the exercise program itself, a dance pad and a motion sensor belt. A person can choose what kind of movements he wants to do for example yoga or martial arts. After the selection the person just follows the “notes” on the screen and performs the predefined moves (at the right time). The belt calculates the score and calories burned so the game keeps you post it on your calories burned and if you are the best at this kind of exercise. Could be fun don’t you think?

IIDX Win EZ2DJ

I say bad news……..

(Korea langage orignal souce trancerate to English)

The decision of commodity that amusement practical music simulation game machine “EZ2DJ” that began to put on the market at the end of 1990’s and collected whirlwind popularity plagiarized game machine BeatMania of the Japanese industry company went out.

Japanese game machine manufacturing company Konami manufacturing, the sales company game world, and “EZ2DJ” Amuse World to 12(director Yangzeyang of the judge of the presiding judge) central Seoul local method academy civil affairs on the eighth. The decision of winning the case one sheet of manuscript “All defendants must compensate the manuscript for total 11.7 billion won or more, and abandon EZ2DJ products was done by the claim lawsuit of the patent violation prohibition etc. put out to the other party.

EZ2DJ that was the arcade game machine that became DJ directly by the user and performed music with the turntable and the keyboard, etc. began to put on the market in April, 1999, and received the age Republic of Korea game grand prize grand prize. A different version respectively in September, November and 2001 2000 began to put it on the market before.

The trial prefecture clarified it, saying that “The point for defendants to have violated the patent of the manuscript while manufacturing and selling the EZ2DJ game machine was admitted” and “Therefore, defendants had to discontinue the act of production and sales etc. of the product and to abandon this product”.

It concerned and Konami applied for the patent of the name “Storage medium that was able to make out the computer where the program for the production operation instruction system and the game for the music production game machine and the music production game was recorded” to Japan in 1998 and South Korea respectively with this. Point that the patent is registered in South Korea is April, 2001. This patent is applied, “BeatMania” is produced, and Konami is sold.

7800 EZ2DJ products were produced from April, 1999 to July, 2000, and O AmuseWorld produced 2320 until April, 2001 between thereafter and before the domestic patent registration and gave sales of 23.2 billion won or more to the game world giving sales of 78.5 billion won or more. The trial prefecture decided such sales and prize that it was related and defendants provided the manuscript by 10% of sales.

The trial prefecture decided here to compensate together by the patent use profit as much as 1.6 billion won or more that were able to be obtained when Konami got “BeatMania” product by 10 million won per one when it was considered that AmuseWorld produced and had sold 500 EZ2DJ products from April, 2004 to September, 2001 after the patent had been registered and 500 was sold.

7th TraX is last EZ2DJ. I sad and Konami is some madness. (Did you know, Konami sued “ITG”. ITG has been lose.)

Well guys, just introducing myself here on this site. Many of you may know me but I’ll write anyway because I’m stupid and I wanna fill space here without being as random as I’m on my personal blog here.
