Dj Taka 1st MilestoneThis article is from Kanna’s blog. Find the original article here.

That’s right, a complete review from me. Enjoy. I swear I will update more.

But for all of you people who don’t want to read it and my opinion for disc one:

tl;dr version: Kanna gives disc 1 over all 9/10. :D

Quickening - 7/10
I liked this track, simply because I liked the original Quickening and Taka seems to have expanded the ideas in this track very well. Though the samples were a bit… over done at times, I still found that track very enjoyable. (Though the crash cymbals and the end just kinda… uh. Yeah. xD)

Tomorrow Perfume (Vocal Version) - 7.5/10
It’s Tomorrow Perfume… I can hear it, but there’s just something different on how it was rearranged to fit AiMEE’s vocals. I loved the beginning. AiMEE vocalizing at the beginning sent shivers down my spine! It just fit very very well. Though I have to say, it was a bit drawn out - but I think it works in the sense that if it were shorter, the build up wouldn’t have worked as well. I was waiting for the vocals so it was a surprise when it seemed like Tomorrow Perfume changed into another song to accommodate the vocals! I felt like there should have been more AiMEE though.

DistorteD CS Exclusives Song Review Part Two: What a potpourri of songs…

Approved by MAIcrosoft as ARTICLE OF THE MOMENT ; D

Oh btw, in case you have not read the 1st part yet, and still want to :3, go here:
http://www.beatmaniaiidx.com/2007/09/10/distorted-cs-exclusives-song-review-part-one-the-collaboration/

Potpourri de marmelade lolUwaa~ pressure. Part One was made article of the moment by MAI so part two kinda has to live with to that standard. These are the other CS songs that aren’t collaboration — but they aren’t the hidden songs. Hidden songs come in part three. ;)

The order in which I’m reviewing the songs is this…

WaterCube Pf.(RX-Ver.S.P.L.) - 高田雅史 [Takada Masafumi]
VANISHING POINT - DJ CHUCKY
Shoot’Em All - Manabu Namiki
breathless - Studio Bongo Mango feat. Tomoko Kataoka
Bleeding Luv ~Immorality act~ - Xephia(Tatsh + Yuta)

The diversity of the CS songs is to be duly noted - you have instrumental pop, nu-style gabba, techno, some strange bossa-rock-dist.lounge and j-rock. Which provides a good counter balance to the heavy trance-techno-core-hardstyle of the collaboration songs. Diversity is always good.
